Lullaby language

Language is a very subjective thing. The subtle nuances of each person's internal definition of words color our interpretation of everything we read and hear. This is a big problem when it comes to a requirements document. By definition this is supposed to be the ruler that all progress is measured against. But if the ruler changes depending on the viewer, disagreements can arise on whether the standard was implemented. There's a good article at Amplify Your Effectiveness on this topic.
