Open Source CF

Ok, so this isn't really news. The CF world has had open source CF since at least the Smith Project. But a commercial product going open source is new for the CF server market. It will be interesting to see what happens. While from a free-market POV i've always like the existence of BD, from a development and management POV it bothers me. The possibility of forking the language "standard" for CFML fightens me, perhaps irrationally. Still I like the idea of people being able to add new features to the language, even if they have to learn Java to do so.
